Intro to Wet Felting

Workshop Description:

Get your hands on some wool as we learn the very ancient, fun, and magical method of wet felting! In this workshop, we will play with color, texture, and composition to create a piece of wet felted fabric. No previous experience necessary.

Please note: This is a physical process. Students must be able to stand for a majority of the workshop and move arms pretty rigorously.

About the Instructor:

Andy Jacobs is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on fibers and textiles. Her work contemplates ecology, ephemerality, interconnection, and cyclicality. Born and based out of Minneapolis, MN, she has lived on both coasts, earning her BFA in Fine Arts from Pacific Northwest College of Art and her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Maine College of Art and Design.
